TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The competition is open to all dancers within the age group on the day of the event, either online or venue based. If qualification for a final, then the age of the competitor is taken at the date ofthe qualifying Competitorsmay dance two age groups – their age on the day and one above.
  2. Fees for entry and participation for each event are displayed on the websiteproamchampions.co.ukEntries will only be accepted via www.enter2dance.com
  3. All participants and spectators must pre-register for the competition and in doing so, you are indicating your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions

4.     All Participants must first read our online competition safety guidelines below. By taking part you are indicating your agreement to uphold the necessary safety precautions.

A. Ensure you have a suitable space to dance. It should be a sufficient size for you to move freely and be clear of any

B. You should make sure other people are at least two meters away from you to avoid injury. They must also not be visible on your screen.

By accepting the terms and conditions, you are granting ProAmChampions the right to use the photograph(s) and/or footage resulting from the competition, and any reproductions or adaptations of the photograph(s) and/or footage for all general purposes including, without limitation, the right to use them for TV, promotional films, online and in any publicity materials, books, newspapers, magazine articles and social marketing whenever ProAmChampions chooses to do so.

I. If you are competing form your home or private residence, any personal items or personal information should be removed from view. Other precautions should be taken where deemed necessary to help protect your identity and the identity of those around

5.     Rules of the competition

a. Dancers will be allowed to enter as many events as they wish in their relevant age category and one

b. The age category for solo events is the age of the person on the day of the

c. Each dance will be timed for a minimum of one

d. U8, UlO, U12, as per normal dress regulations (NOTE: no stones, no glitter, no sparkles, no tail suits). 12 and over – no

e. Syllabus – Normal syllabus applies for under 12 age

f. Judging will be irrespective of the dancer’s floor surface and

g. Judging will be irrespective of the timing shown, due to possible live feed

h. Number cards must be worn. These will be available as a download once your entry is confirmed. If you do not have a printer, you copy the number delivered by hand onto card.

  1. Judging will be based on all round efficiency in the dance(s) performed. The existing format of recalls, placings and results will be as per ProA
  2. Each finalist will be sent a digital certificate to award their participation and
  3. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered
  4. You must be aware that this is a live event and as such certain elements are out of the organiser’s control.
  5. You will need a good internet

Please visit https://www.speedtest.net/ while in the location you will be dancing in, and connected to the internet connection you will be using, and click go.

The test result should be a minimum of 5mbs download and 2-3mbs upload speed. Please be aware that connection speeds will vary and the above test is only an indication of your connection speed and status at that time. It does not guarantee your connection.

If your internet connection is poor, you can try connecting to your mobile phone data using your personal hotspot. We strongly advise you to check your network provider’s charges before doing this.  The event is not responsible for any bad internet connection and events will not be re-run. If you are competing from the same venue as other dancers, please join your own hotspot and do not share wifi. If too many people are logged onto the same internet connection it will become very slow. It is your responsibility to ensure that your internet connection is secure andreliable.

  1. ProAmChampions wish that all those entering the events or lectures above adhere to the current rules and regulations of their home country regarding the COVID-19 health and safety

issues. The organisers will not be held responsible for any person in breach of their home regulations.

  1. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend any session within this competitions and these terms andconditions without Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by thepromoter.
